Rachel Rothenberg is the author of Debris Field (Persea Books, 2027), winner of the 2026 Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize. She holds degrees in English and Lusophone literatures from Tufts University and Brown University, and is currently a PhD Candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Rhode Island. A recent winner of the Greg Grummer Poetry Prize and the Nancy D. Hargrove Editors’ Prize in Poetry, her work is featured or forthcoming in Best New Poets, Cincinnati Review, Poetry Northwest, Shenandoah, Raleigh Review, Salt Hill, and elsewhere. She is the Senior Associate Editor at Barrow Street Press.
